Lindsey is no stranger to sports. She grew up playing softball from the age of 6 until her senior year of college. She was used to the long practices, travel ball tournaments, strenuous college softball schedule, and she enjoyed the ride. Lindsey lived a big portion of her life having softball as her identity, where she felt her worth came from. It wasn’t until her freshman year of college after tearing her ACL for the second time (in her other knee) that she surrendered everything at the feet of Jesus. Finding freedom knowing that she is a priceless daughter of the One True King. Junior year of college, when she transferred to a different university, is when her faith truly started to grow. She got baptized right before she moved into college and as she sought out the Lord her perspective of softball began to change. It became less and less about softball and more and more about Jesus. Through guidance of her coaches, she began leading a team devotional each week. The desire from then was to use the platform Jesus had given her to make His Name so known whether she stepped foot on the field to play a game or not Jesus is worthy to be praised and Lindsey’s goal was to pour into her teammates and coaches the best she could all in Jesus MIGHTY NAME. After a life changing brain injury her senior year of college, Lindsey was very limited on tasks she could do. Growing in treatment and with a great support system, Lindsey continues to learn what this new normal of life looks like. Over two years after her accident, the Lord put this ministry on her heart to start up to encourage athletes to live bodly in Jesus MIGHTY NAME, walk CONFIDENTLY in JESUS MIGHTY NAME, and to LIVE ON MISSION IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME. She prays that it touches and impacts hearts for eternity, all through Jesus!
